Online e-Learning and Support
Online learning and support
Can you actually get any real development by using e-learning, or
any other web-based methods? Probably not for 'soft' skills such
as team decision-making processes and communication.
E-learning is particularly useful for imparting knowledge. It's
always available, even when training sessions and development events
are over. Also, just think about all the time spent on such events
in presentation of information rather than on activities and discussion.
Why not remove all that and put it online? Save time, or spend more
time face-to-face on the human interactions that people enjoy.
Blended Learning
The best solution is not to go exclusively via a e-learning route,
or use face-to-face development processes - but to use an integrated
mix of both.
We have a section of the site that explores
e-Learning in more detail.
