Detail of the Questionnaire

The questionnaire is based around 16 question areas many of which require a manager to do more than just rate him/her self. They pose a typical staff situation and asks what would he do next. The options given are subtle - reflecting the complex world of work today.

It is thought-provoking and engaging to take. Relevant nuggets of information are provided after many of the questions - learning is accentuated even at this stage.

The questions have been reviewed by a UK / US team and the language used suits a global audience. However, this and many other aspects of the questionnaire can be customised to your organisation's needs.

For 360 assessment, a manager's staff are sent a special version of the questionnaire.

Some examples from the questionnaire are shown below.

Next page: The report>

Screen shot 1: some of the questions set out realistic situations - which are often subtle and complex. Managers are asked 'What would you do?':

Screen shot 2: some questions interrogate a manager's thoughts about how people learn, change and develop. In the 360 version, the assessors are asked what is most helpful to them!

Screen shot 3: Some questions ask managers to rate themselves, or describe their current level of activity. Of course, in the 360 version, assessors' views may not agree!
