'Project TeamBuild'

This is an online tool designed to assess the capabilities and 'readiness' of project members and thus predict the likely effectiveness of projects. It is unique in that it focuses on the human elements such as tolerance of uncertainty, ability to work in a systematic fashion, comfort with the diffuse authority of pharma projects, and adds value to the traditional risk assessments that are related to drug compounds, cost of goods, etc etc.

This tool is currently in development, but will be able to help:

  • The Project Office to look across the range of project teams and their project leaders, to highlight any risks present
  • Project leaders to assess their own team (and vice versa) to visualise strengths and any weak areas - as well as providing advice on how to strengthen them.

We are currently seeking opportunities within Pharma companies to road test this tool, which would represent a very low-cost opportunity to enhance your operation. Please Contact Us if you are interested.

 
     

This shows a typical screen shot from a report prepared for a project leader. In this example, you can see there is concern over the IP project team member.

This is explained in more detail below, when 'drilling down' to the next level of detail.

   

Below we can see the reasons for the IP rep's low scoring - in this case the lack of role clarity and the support provided for this project work by his functional management. This would direct the project leader to intervene with functional management at the necessary level, to raise the issue and resolve the problem.
